MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick & Lip Pencil

Hey there everyone! It’s me again. Here to provide you with another lippie review. Let’s get started!
Today I’ll be reviewing on 2 from the first and one of the best cosmetic companies that launched matte lipsticks, MAC Cosmetics. Before matte lipsticks became the craze, MAC already had their own line of matte lipsticks. So I went back to the classic and best sellers of MAC, The Ruby Woo Lipstick and Lip Pencil. 

Let me start off with Ruby Woo Lip Pencil…
 This lip pencil is very pigmented blue red color that lines the lips nicely. Creamy and applies easily. This goes with it’s matching lipstick.. 

 The Ruby Woo Lipstick. This is a very vivid blue red lipstick with a matte finish. The bright red everyone should have. The lipstick is not that creamy when applied and it actually works better that way, because when you apply it, you actually can see automatically the matte finish of it. What I love about this lipstick is that it doesn’t dry my lips. Here’s a swatch for both… 

 The only downside is that it is not smudgeproof. This is the classic lipstick that smudges. I actually ended up covering just above my chin with concealer because I ate and was not conscious enough about my lipstick. It is also not waterproof. So it will likely fade, only if you eat, drink or wipe it off.  

So here’s how I looked with it…

 The smudging doesn’t really bother me since I believe its a MAC thing. They focus more on the color and consistenct formula to give you the richness of the color you’d  want.

 Since I was going to use this color, I decided to go light on my other make up. My eyes just got some gold eyeshadow with glitter, some mascara and dusted some illuminizing powder on the cheeks. 

 I’m inlove with this shade. The perfect bombshell red lipstick. 

 No wonder this is the people’s ultimate favorite lipstick. The “THE MUST HAVE” of all make up stash. 

  The color is so sexy yet classy. You can even go bare face and just this and you’ll be good to go!
