Katy Perry 💜 COVERGIRL: Katy Kat Matte Lipstick Duo Review

 Hello again Dolls! I’m here again to give you guys another review. I’ll be changing it up a bit and be reviewing on drugstore brand lipsticks which I totally love as well. Let’s get started then!

My picks for today are from Katy Perry and COVERGIRL’s Collaboration, Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks in CAT CALL and KITTY PURRY shade. 

I started my lippie collection with buying drug store brands at first. They are still my go-to’s still since some of them are actually quite good quality. COVERGIRL has been for over years and years a well-known cosmetic line, and they did a collaboration with Katy Perry. They released over 11 demi-matte shades and I’m lucky enough to review two of my fave shades from the collection. 

First up is Cat Call shade lipstick If you guys follow my instagram account I previously posted a mini-review there regarding this lipstick. Here’s the photo..

This is a soft fuchsia pink shade in a demi-matte finish. Doesn’t completely dry and stays moisturizing but has that matte finish effect to it. The color is very vibrant as well. 

 

Next is the Kitty Purry shade Lipstick. 

 

So again this one, a couple of days ago I used this one too and posted it on my instagram account. Here’s the photo…

This shade is a pastel lilac-rose color with demi-matte finish as well. The color is quite gorgeous! I love how it’s just the right balance of purple and pink. 

 

What I love about the collection are the names of the shades. All are in relation to her name and cats. And I find them so catchy and cool! 

Here are the swatches for both by the way..

   It may take 1-2 applications to really cover evenly the lip color. But for the price, you can’t beat it. 

 The tube cover is cute too. Very simple yet it’s chic. 

I definitely would recommend these lippies. It’s lippie-approved by me. 😁
